A gingerbread house competition between a from-box competitor and a from-scratch competitor. Van, naturally, building from scratch with architectural plans. The contest format is a Trojan horse for the channel's core argument about craft: the from-box version is faster, more predictable, and perfectly adequate. The from-scratch version is slower, riskier, and produces something that couldn't have come from a kit. The question is which kind of person you want to be.

oh it actually came out beautifully few of us would have figured
this one out use raw sugar as hot glue it looks like syrup and a NE
