Keep a Swiss Champ or Leatherman in the center console and a roll of clear tape. Not that Magic Tape crap. Duck Brand Crystal Clear is the gold standard. Clear tape is the fundamental repair material.
Van's Land Cruiser center console looks like a junk drawer, but each item is thought out. Disposable gloves for the engine compartment. A lighter, even if you don't smoke, because lighter plus glue stick equals hot glue gun. Two red pens because pen borrowers steal pens. A tape measure with his name on it. Thread with a stripe of hot glue on it so it doesn't unravel. Lefty scissors retired from his desk because they have a nick in the blades. One piece of white cardstock and one piece of bone cardstock: an arts-and-crafts kit or a save-the-day kit or an emergency birthday-present wrapping kit.

virgin easy pass velcro the gold standard oh two red sharpies come on smarten up a black and a red magnets came in this box and now i keep a needle in it know what i'm gonna put a
magnet in there white out pen for writing on just about anything still works
pack of needles know why they're in here so i know where they are rubber bands oh don't buy the natural rubber ones two
red pens because pen borrowers steal pens [Music] carlton gave me this ballpoint pen and i think it's beautiful tape measure with my name on it i'm gonna touch that up
extra pencil leads thread with a stripe of hot glue on it so it don't unravel terrible first aid kit got to put some
band-aids in there for my leaky finger etc binder clips phone charger aux cable lefty scissors retired from my desk because they have a nick in the blades
safety pin maybe throw a couple more in there i'm going to add a pack of super sticky post-its and
one piece of white card stock what the hell piece of bone card stock too sort of an arts and crafts kid or a save the day kid or an emergency birthday present
